When oilseeds are cold-pressed, the protein-rich residue left behind — the oil cake — still holds substantial nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and a range of micronutrients in organically bound form. Soil bacteria and fungi slowly unlock these nutrients over 4 to 8 weeks, releasing them steadily into the root zone. No spike. No burn. No leaching. Just a natural, timed feed that matches how plants actually absorb nutrition.

✔ Groundnut Oil Cake — The highest-nitrogen cake in the blend (~7% N). Breaks down readily in warm soil, giving leafy plants and heavy feeders a sustained vegetative boost.

✔ Mustard Oil Cake — Contains natural glucosinolates that convert into pest-suppressing compounds on contact with soil. Works as a nutrient source and a natural nematode deterrent simultaneously.

✔ Sesame Oil Cake — Rich in sulfur-bearing amino acids that improve soil sulfur levels and support strong stem formation and root development.

✔ Niger Seed Oil Cake — A trace mineral carrier. Contributes bioavailable sulfur, zinc, and iron — micronutrients often missing in overworked soils.

✔ Flaxseed Oil Cake — Unique for its mucilaginous fibre content. Improves soil water retention and acts as a prebiotic for beneficial soil bacteria.

How to Use

Soil drench (recommended): Mix 50–100 g per litre of water. Rest the mix for 20 minutes, stir well, and apply directly to the root zone. Use once every 3–4 weeks during the growing season.

Soil incorporation: Mix 100–200 g per square foot into the topsoil before planting. For established plants, top-dress with 80–100 g and drench surrounding soil with water.

Compost activator: Add 200–300 g per cubic foot of compost. The high protein content accelerates decomposition and cuts composting time significantly.
